Basic settings Go to Website module → Configurations→ Settings. Our system supports multiple websites. If you have multiple websites, please select the corresponding website in the drop down list before you start to configure it. In the Website section, change the name of your website, company name, favicon, and social media links if applicable. 2User Guide Please be noted that the Website title will be shown in browser index. 2. Connect your website to a specific domain Go to Website module→ Configurations→ Settings. Go to the Website Section and in the Domain section, insert the domain of your website (which you have to apply by yourself) and click on Save. 3. How to access to the website Go to the Website Module. Click on the Go to Website. If you have more than one website, you may choose the one you want the access on the top right e.g. “My Website” and “My Website 2”. After you click on the website you want to have access, you will be directed to the default website homepage. This is where you can start building your website. 3User Guide 4. Build your website structure a) Create/Re-arrange your Pages Go to your website page and on the menu bar you will see Pages. Click on Edit Menu if you want to adjust the menu bar/navbar of your website. To re-arrange the page order, simply drag the pages you want to re-arrange up or down 4User Guide To create a new subpage drag it to the right side. You can also add new menu items by clicking on Add Menu Item. Once you finished creating and adjusting your pages. Click on the Save button, to save your new menu pages. b) Manage Pages You can manage all your webpages, by clicking on Manage Pages. Here you can have an overview of all your pages URL, and their status. The corresponding icons means below: • The pin icon – if you page is included in the main menu; • The eye icon – if your page is published • The earth icon – if the page is indexed by search engines • The magnifying glass – if the page is SEO optimized. 5User Guide You can also edit each page properties by click on the wheel icon. Here you can also edit the page name and the page URL. You can also duplicate or delete the page by clicking on the icons. Click on the Publish tab to set up different publish settings. c) Optimize SEO You can set up different SEO keywords for your different webpages. First go to the page you want to set up and on the menu bar click on Promote and select on Optimize SEO. A SEO optimization window will pop up for you to insert the Title and Description on the right side of the window there will be a preview of how it would like in the search browser. You many also insert up to 10 keywords based on the languages of your website. 6User Guide d) Publish webpages Before you finish designing your webpages you can click on the Unpublished button. After you finish designing your webpage and want to officially display the page on your website you can click on the Published button. 5. Add/Edit your website content a) Widgets/Blocks Go to the page you want to edit and click on the Edit button on the right corner of your page. 7User Guide A list of different widgets will appear on the right side. Under the Blocks tab, you can select and add the different widgets available by simply dragging and dropping them onto your webpage. You can also change the order by dragging them up or down. b) Theme colors If you want to adjust the theme colors of your website you can click on Options. 8User Guide Here you can change the theme colors by clicking the circled swatches. If you want to use specific color codes you can enter HEX or RGBA color code You can change the theme colors in this section by simply clicking the circled swatches. To be accurate, you directly enter the HEX or RGBA color code. c) Theme Options You can also set up your website’s font, font size, buttons, and other options under Theme Options. 9User Guide d) Hide Editor view You can hit “Esc” on your keyboard if you want to hide the editor on the right to have a better sight of the webpage, and vice versa. Please be reminded that even if you hide the editor, you are still in “edit mode” and if you refresh or leave the page now without saving, you will lose all your previous changes. e) Edit content To edit text, images or videos in the website builder, you need to enter the edit mode by clicking Edit on the top right corner first. Click the text you want to make changes and just replace the text. If you have selected blocks with photos or other media to be inserted, you may either double click on the image, whereby it would prompt a window for you to find and upload you own image, or paste the image link after click Add URL. If you are looking for images uploaded before, you can search the file name with the search bar. Additionally, on the menu bar on the right hand side, you can see its broken into different sections for your editing of relevant block. Under the STYLES, you can see the below three buttons. The first button means uploading & selecting a picture; second one is a video; last one is to do a SHAPE on the background of the block. 10User Guide The second part “SLIDE (1/2)” will appear when the block you have chosen has more than ‘one section’, in this case our block contains two slides which will automatically change once in a while. You may press the < or > button, and it will change onto the next slide for you to edit; or you may press + or – to add more delete a slide. f) Improve image presentation Since this is a simple drag & drop website builder, sometimes the images positioning might not be the most ideal. Below are some tips to improve your images on the website. • Image Resolution For full-width images such as banner, carousel and parallax backgrounds, the suggested minimum width of the image is 1440px. For other sized images, the suggested minimum dpi is 150px. The system will give you a suggested and original size, and a quality-adjust slider for you to choose the best settings for your website images. 11User Guide • Image Positioning If the focus position of the image is not inside the image frame, you can drag the image to the correct position by clicking the target icon next to Position option. Simply drag the image to the correct position and click Apply on the top left-hand corner and then click “Save”. 12User Guide *For responsive website layout on phones, you might have to check back and forth for the most ideal positioning, as it is responsive so it will not be capable to allow you to adjust the image positioning of how it shows individually on smaller devices. g) Header (menu bar) and footer By clicking on the website’s header and footer, you can edit the setup on the editor on the right. You can choose one of the available design templates. You can also change the color, border, shadow, scroll effect, position, navbar (menu bar) set up, language selector etc. 13User Guide h) Multi-language Website If you wish your website to be in multiple languages, go to your website footer and click on the language selector and select “+ Add a language.” In the Language section add the languages you would like for your website. If you have multiple websites, you may also need to select the website you wish to translate. After inserting the languages, click on Save and the new languages will be updated in the website’s language selector. *If your website consists of English and other languages, we will suggest you to start building your website in English. **Some of the functions will require programming. i) Website translation After setting up your website languages, you will have to translate the website. Choose the language that you are going to translate with the language selector in the header or footer, you may find some of the content that has been translated by the system, you can also edit the translation if necessary. Click on the Translate button on the upper right corner. All the texts will be highlighted in yellow or green. The content that is highlighted in yellow represents text pending for 14User Guide translation, while the text that''s highlighted in green represents that it has been translated already. At this stage you can start to translate your content and remember to click on the Save button from time to time so your translation won’t be lost. 6. Other tools a) Phone icon W+ websites are responsive, which means that it will adjust the website layout based on your browser view whether it is a desktop or mobile. To have a preview of how your website will look on a mobile device you can simply click on the phone icon. However, if you wish to edit the look of the mobile/tablet view, it will require complex coding procedure. Contact us if you need any assistance. 15User Guide b) Select different websites Other than selecting your different websites in the backend of the system, you can also switch between different websites from the menu bar. c) + New The +New button on the top right hand menu bar allows you to create a new blog post, event, forum, job offer, add a new product to your e-shop, e-learning course, and live chat widget (some of the functions will require other modules to operate). 7. Blog W+ ERP website builder allows you to create Blogs (requires blog module). Click on the Blog tab on your website and it will display the latest blog update. You can categorize your blogs and also add tags for easier search. Similar as previous operation, just drag & drop, type the content, and “Publish” when it’s completed and you wish for it to become available to view on your website. 16User Guide a) Blog management You can manage blogs in the backend system by going to the Website Module and click on Blogs in the menu bar. 8. Forum This function (requires eLearning module) allows website visitors to create a post to discuss or ask questions. Visitors can simply do that by clicking on New Posts. You can mark the post as solved, unsolved, and unanswered for easier post management and better customer services. a) Forum posts management You can manage forum posts in system’s backend by clicking on Forum→ Posts in the top menu bar. Here you can see how your posts perform, such as number of views, answers, favorite and the status of each post. 17User Guide b) Create a new forum post Go to Forum→ Posts→Create, here you will have to enter the title, description and tags. After inputting all the details click on Post Your Question to create your new post. c) Mark your questions as Solved Go to your post’s answer, next to the answer there will be a tick icon on the left of the answer, simply click on the tick and it will be marked as the best answer and the post will be marked as solved. 18
