Cost Manager helps you to manage your cloud’s cost depending on your resource usage, it provides the
facility of Billing and Optimization.
Note: - Cost Manager feature is available only for Azure, Alibaba, GCP and AWS cloud.
1. Billing
While adding cloud provider in CloudBrain, user must give bucket name, in which billing data is stored. Once
the provider is added in CloudBrain, it will take 24 hours to update billing data.
Billings helps you to identify your hourly based service wise consumption and its amount based on daily
usage for different cloud services such as Compute, Storage
To see “Billing” go to Cost Manager -> Billing
On Billing page, we can see the Overview, Details, Cost Trend and Predictions tabs.

Cloud billing gives you a summary of the on-going costs for maintaining cloud resources. You can
see billing data for AWS and Azure providers. You can see billing on basis of
Usage Budget - You can view Used billing by Azure, AWS, GCP, Alibaba cloud or All cloud provider those are
tag in respected teams.
Total Budget – It will indicate the set budget for selected duration.
Estimated Saving – It will compare the Usage Budget from Total Budget and show the Estimated saving cost
in USD.
To see “Overview” go to Cost Manager -> Billing New and click on Overview.

budget of overall month or more than one month. For selecting date click on calendar dropdown and select
date range and click on Apply button.
After selecting the date range user can see the used budget and Total budget. And user can see the Expense
Vs Budget and Resources Utilization graph along with selected cloud provider.

Cost Trend gives information about daily usage and total cost of each service as below.
To view “Cost Trend” go to Cost Manager -> Billing New and click on Cost Trend.
Click on Select Account dropdown and select cloud account. Select Region of cloud account and after
selecting account and region user can see the total cost of each service used by cloud account on daily usage.

Prediction tab is showing the historical usage cost of selected cloud account and predictive usage cost of
cloud account.
To view “Predictions” go to Cost Manager -> Billing New and click on Predictions.
Here user can view the last 6 months consumption data, future consumption is predicted in ranges that are
upper range (max future consumption possibility), lower range (minimum future consumption possibility)
and average of two ranges.

Optimization helps user to monitor cloud cost and consumption of multiple cloud accounts resources and
help user in optimizing cloud by giving recommendation depends on their consumption.
a) Budget Management
Budget Management helps you to manage your cloud spend budget of current year. You can set month wise
budget for different Team. This budget then used in cost related reports like “Cost vs. Budget”.
You can see Budget Management report on basis of
Team - Team is logical grouping of Cloud accounts.
Year - You need to select year to set budget.
Month - You can set budget on monthly basis.
To set “Budget” go to Cost Manager -> Optimization -> Budget Management.

ii)To schedule migration - Click slider to right side select date and time when you must schedule migration
After selecting VM to migrate and date and time, click on Schedule migration tab. It will schedule migration
on selected specified time.

progress and upcoming migrations. This tab gets auto-refreshed in every minute.
Export PDF: - Click on Export to PDF tab to download detailed pdf report of all migration operations.

Right sign: - indicates that same bucket name already exits at destination.
Cross sign: - indicates that same bucket name is not present at destination.

created at destination.

Orchestration is a feature of Cloud Brain that helps you simplify the cloud computing resource
management. Using this Orchestration feature user can manage resources like ECS, Security group, VPC
and Switch. An orchestration template is a text file in JSON format. Using this Template user can update

Currently we support Orchestration feature for Alibaba Cloud.
Go to Orchestration-> Dashboard
This is the dashboard page of Orchestration here you can create new template and search different
templates.
